Fly into Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). The Airport Express reaches the city in about 25 minutes, while taxis take roughly 40 minutes.

Octopus Card

Pick one up at the airport for easy payment on trains, taxis, ferries, cafés, and shops.

Getting Around

The MTR is fast, clean, and easy to navigate. Taxis are plentiful, Uber is available, and the hotel connects directly to Admiralty MTR.

Currency

Hong Kong uses the Hong Kong Dollar (HKD). Cards are widely accepted and ATMs are easy to find, so there’s little need to carry much cash.

Visa

Canadian and U.S. passport holders may visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to 90 days.

Weather
